A new series "Seawalk Cast Jigging 'Swim & Skip'" will be added to the light jigging series "Seawalk" for inshore boat games.
It is a series that pursues performance to efficiently explore a wide range by casting metal jigs, plugs, jig heads, etc., and two models which is different power classes, 71ML and 73M are lined up.
By adjusting it so that it can be used with various lures while also supporting the high-speed winding style of metal jigs with blades, we have completed a series that can be enjoyed targeting a variety of fish in a wide range of water depths in whole season.
The performances common to both models are the long casting performance with over & under casting, and stable reeling performance. And the rod design is easy to handle regardless of the size of the boat, from kayaks to pleasure boats and recreational fishing boats.
The 71ML is a casting model that emphasizes smooth winding and stable reeling from low speed to high speed.
The 73M is a casting model that you can cast and jerk your lure easily and briskly.
It is a series aiming at multiple targets by capturing a wide range and all layers of waters by letting lure "swim" (just winding) and the letting lure "skip" (lift and fall, wind, etc.) on the bottom of the sea. The main concept is to enjoy a fishing from the boat simply and easily.
Furthermore, by combining this cast jigging model with a light jigging model and a Tai rubber model that aims right under the boat vertically, the possibilities of coastal boat games will be greatly expanded, and a new light jigging style will be able to explore.

SeaWalk Cast-Jigging SS 71ML

With its flexible tip and belly section, it is a model that has improved the basic performance of cast jigging that suppresses blurring and flapping of jig even during high-speed reeling, realizing stable reeling comfort and smooth hooking.
It is easy to cast over and under hand, and even though it is ML power class, the butt section keeps unexpectedly big fish under control.
From shallow area to depths around 20m, while capturing multiple fish species with blade jigs, metal vibrations, and Inchiku, in sandy areas, 71ML work effectively to aim Flounder or Flathead with jig heads + worms by taking advantage of the high sensitivity.

SeaWalk Cast-Jigging SS 73M

73M has more moderate stiffness than 71ML, and this is a model that is to capture the wide range and deep area while using metal jigs up to 80g.
It is easy to cast a heavy weight lure farther than you expected with light force even under hand, and it is good at lure with emphasis on action using not only metal jigs but also heavy weight minnows, sinking pencils and jerk baits.
It is also recommended for aiming migratory fish when its feeding on the surface, rockfish aiming by wind method with heavy weight jig head + worm or lift and fall method in rocky reefs.
This is the almighty model that covers a variety of styles with just 73M itself.

*Precautions when using SW6000 class
When performing high-speed winding in blade jigging, increasing the reel size will reduce fatigue, so we recommend up to the SW6000 class.
When setting SW5000 to 6000 class, the recommended line number of the rod is PE#1.5, so it is necessary to wind the spool down due to the line capacity.

Cast jigging 71ML and 73M are designed to apply a moderate stiffness to blanks from the butt to the belly to reduce the unwanted wobbles of the tip that tends to occur when reeling metal jigs at high speed.
These characteristics enable you to retrieve metal jig at low to high speed very stably and let you lift and fall the jig head very comfortably.
