During long fights, the rod joint can become difficult to separate.
This happens because, as you fight with the rod held upright, downward force gradually drives the joint deeper together.
The design of the new WhiteInsight 7415 makes this even more likely, so we’ve included an EVA ring to be placed between the joints.

Always use the rod with the EVA ring inserted during use, and be sure to remove it after the fight.
If the joint becomes difficult to separate, cooling it will help. Try applying a cold spray or placing it in a large refrigerator at your trusted tackle shop.

Designed for tuna models, where long fights are expected.
To withstand the continuous stress and impact during extended battles, stainless steel guides are used.

For models expected to endure even greater loads and longer fights — 7210, 7610, 61112, and the new 7415 — the guide feet are specially processed to ensure a tighter bond between the guide and the rod. This prevents the guide feet from loosening or pulling out.

Based on extensive feedback from repeated field testing, we've chosen thick black thread that excels in penetration, adhesion, and durability when combined with the coating material.

    All guides are underwrapped.
To improve casting feel, the underwraps are kept as narrow as possible.
