Weight Reduction, Enhanced Sensitivity, and Increased Strength
Ota Garage’s design philosophy is woven into the materials and shapes of each individual component, creating a perfect balance between reduced weight, heightened sensitivity, and increased strength.
As a result, the reel transmits even the most subtle information from the line all the way to the handle knob without delay or loss.
You can experience the highest level of sensitivity ever achieved in the Blue Heaven series.

AE85 Cork / Carbon CAP Knob

However, at OGM, we make no compromises—this premium material is generously used in the handle shaft, spool shaft, and handle rivet, delivering outstanding weight reduction, enhanced sensitivity, and superior strength.
Titanium is also used for the reel foot and handle bolts, further contributing to the reel's exceptional performance and durability.

Since slow-pitch jigging often involves palming the reel with bare hands, we tested multiple cutout patterns to create a design that minimizes discomfort and stress during use.
This avant-garde frame design not only achieves significant weight reduction but also delivers a noticeable improvement in sensitivity—clearly distinguishing it from its predecessor.

Additionally, the handle knob is made from cork, which is lighter and more sensitive than EVA material.
The combination of carbon and cork makes for the ultimate handle system for slow-pitch jigging.

By varying the edge treatment of the drag lever's range of motion, the angler can easily feel the position of the lever with their fingers, allowing for quick, no-look adjustments to the drag lever.

In slow-pitch jigging, where 1-3kg drag is commonly used, this modification reduces the common issue of stick-slip at low tension that cork washers often experience.
However, if you regularly use high-tension drag, we recommend replacing it with a rubber cork washer of the same size.

The AE100 knob is installed on the L80, the AE85 on the L50 S2T model, the AE100 on the PSG model, and the AE85 on the L30.

The range of motion between the FREE position and the MIN position has been expanded compared to the standard model. With a special cam setting, it allows for precise brake control just before the MIN position, where the drag washer and disc make contact.
