The Soldam Ghost is a product developed through repeated testing, utilizing HISHIMO’s unique experience and design philosophy to maximize the solid rod’s key characteristics: high sensitivity, high torque, and high strength.

During a fight, the rod can be fully bent, allowing you to battle fish effectively.

Short-length models designed for high-pitch and one-pitch jigging techniques.

Compared to the previous B602, B603, and B604 models, both the butt and tip diameters have been increased, resulting in greater overall power. These rods are designed to work the jig sharply and make it dart aggressively, delivering a highly dynamic action. Unlike slow-action models, this design helps trigger bites from fish that have become conditioned or wary of slow presentations.

  • SOMG-B572: 7:3 action. A short-length all-rounder.
  • SOMG-B573: 7:3 action. Designed for amberjack and yellowtail kingfish around remote islands.
  • SOMG-B574: 7:3 action. Suited for amberjack, yellowtail kingfish, and island giant trevally.

The Soldum Ghost 63 series features updates including changes to the guides due to the increased length, and an extended rear grip length from 40 cm to 45 cm. These refinements are designed to improve holding stability during fights and enhance ease of jigging action.

  • SOMG-B630 / B631: Featuring a 7:3 action, these models are suitable for depths of approximately up to 100 m.
  • SOMG-B632 / B633 / B634: Designed with a slow jigging action, these models cover deeper ranges from approximately 100 m to 400 m.
