The blank is constructed using a carbon tubular design, prioritising precise jig control and operability. This model has been developed with underarm fighting in mind, ensuring stability and power during long battles.

The guides are made of titanium SiC, with larger ring sizes compared to the standard CROSS-BORDER series to accommodate heavier lines. The butt guide is set higher to suit the use of larger reels.

A carbon reel seat is used, and the reel is secured with a double-locking nut to prevent loosening during use.

After five years of development, this tuna jigging rod—designed by Yasuo Nishimoto—has finally been completed.

Equipped with titanium SiC guides featuring larger ring sizes for heavy-line applications, and a higher-set butt guide designed for use with large reels.

Guide configuration differs by model (L: 10, M: 11, H: 10). Although unconventional, this layout was refined through extensive testing to achieve optimal balance and performance.

Features a high-rigidity φ19 carbon reel seat with a double-locking nut system, ensuring the reel remains firmly secured even during intense, long-duration fights. The seamless construction also minimises hand fatigue.

The extended and thicker mid grip is designed for a powerful, confident hold when fighting large fish.

Built with a carbon tubular blank focused on precision jig control, this rod is purpose-designed for powerful underarm fighting.

At 6'3", the range includes L, M, and H models: L for yellowfin tuna, M for large yellowfin and smaller bluefin, and H for targeting large bluefin tuna.

Although optimised for solid hook-setting, the rod loads smoothly during jig action, using its rebound to lift and energise the jig—it’s powerful, yet responsive.

Designed to be safely bent under the arm, it allows anglers to apply maximum pressure when fighting big fish, provided the rod’s load limits are understood.

Recommended fighting style: underarm positioning with controlled rod flex to maintain constant pressure.
