The SALTIGA DIVE*STAR 220F is a diving pencil that was completed with the desire to create a truly competitive top lure.

“Aiming for a diving pencil that is easy for everyone to handle!” To
that end, we thought it was important to thoroughly pursue basic performance.
First of all, the flight distance to quickly throw the lure into a distant nabla or point.
For this, the flight attitude is very important, and if it rotates or shakes during flight, a satisfactory flight distance cannot be obtained. The Dive Star is designed with a fine weight balance, and is designed with a body weight of 105g (125g including hook) so that you can comfortably swing through a 220mm plug. The stress-free flight distance will make encounters with large fish more familiar.

It is difficult to jump out even with a relatively strong jerk action, and once you are in the water, the flat part of the head catches water and achieves an ideal diving action with simple rod work. Even large fish that have fallen into the depths can be hit with powerful waves from the sides, appealing to the lure on the surface of the water and turning on the Kwase switch.
For the body, the skin of the fish is analyzed in 3D and realized with a hologram. By layering the striped pattern that imitates scales, we succeeded in giving a glow that is as close as possible to that of a living fish.
This hologram, named "ADEL", is an original hologram that Daiwa and the long-established gold leaf maker Murata Gold Leaf Group, which was founded in the first year of Keio, teamed up to create a strong tag. It will be the first installation in the world. The mouth part of the head is finally colored to increase visibility, and visibility is increased even in rough water.
