The "BLUE HEAVEN L100" model from OTA Garage, which was first revealed at this year's "Fishing Show OSAKA" and received a great deal of attention, will soon be released and pre-order is available now.

Ota Garage Concept
In collaboration with tester Yasuo Nishimoto and while developing Blue Heaven, it became clear that the specifications needed to master slow-pitch jerking could not be confined within the broad category of jigging reels. The BHL30, BH50, and BHL80 were developed with the primary concepts of operational ease, weight reduction, and enhanced sensitivity, and were born as Ota Garage models specifically for slow-pitch jerking.

However, with the evolution of jigs, lines, rods, and the diversification of target fish, questions arose about whether the standard BHL100's Ota Garage approach was still suitable. Through extensive fishing with the BHL100, the answer distilled was the development of a strong fishing reel specifically for slow-pitch jerking.

The Ota Garage Model OGM BHL100 incorporates several challenges:

• Ability to powerfully jerk heavy jigs.
• Capability to retrieve heavy jigs from deep water.
• Ability to confront exceptionally large fish.
• Breaking the concept that delicate reels are fragile.

These challenges have been meticulously incorporated into the OTA Garage Model OGM BHL100.

Compact Gear Box
By adopting a new bearing design for the main shaft and a crank arm that is a first in its class, we have achieved a 3mm more compact design from the center of the reel foot compared to standard models. Despite being a wide spool model, it boasts exceptional reel operability.

L-shaped Carbon Drag Lever
The L-shaped drag lever has become a benchmark for jigging reels worldwide. With the extension of the arm, the lever has been made larger and machined from carbon plate material to reduce weight. The aluminum base uses traditional Japanese carpentry techniques with a mortise and tenon joint, achieving a finish with no play and without the need for screws.

Newly Designed 105mm Crank Handle
This first-in-class crank handle arm, made from custom-laminated high-elasticity 36-ton carbon, maximizes bending and torsional rigidity.

Dynamic Gear Design / Stainless Steel
Following the Mountain Module Concept, which maximizes the gear module size for powerful winding efficiency, this second-generation SOM gear further enhances winding efficiency and pursues improved SOM gear sound.

Waterproof Cap with Angular Contact Ball Bearings
A rubber cap envelops the angular contact ball bearings, preventing seawater intrusion from inside the reel and significantly enhancing durability.

12mm One-Way Bearing / Large-Diameter Bearing / Oil Seal
The conventional clutch had two 10mm diameter bearings in series, but the new 12mm diameter bearings provide stronger reverse load resistance. Like the larger clutch, the radial ball bearings have also been enlarged to effectively transfer handle power to the gears. Additionally, industrial-grade waterproof seals are used to prevent water ingress into the clutch, which is the core of the handle shaft.

64 Titanium Parts (12mm Main Shaft / Spool Shaft / Handle Rivets)
The main shaft, spool shaft, and handle rivets are all produced from 64 titanium, meticulously machined from thick rods down to 12mm.

Alloy Titanium Parts (Reel Foot / Handle Bolts)
The reel foot and handle bolts use high-resilience alloy titanium, achieving significant weight reduction through the use of advanced materials.
