POWER SHOOTER MAGBRAKE SYSTEM

The first-generation MAG model, released in 2020, was a modified version of the BHL developed for jigging. Many anglers tuned this model to their liking, and through customization, it became recognized as the ultimate MAG reel. Naturally, there were aspects of the base model that couldn't be modified through tuning alone, leading to numerous requests from baitcasters. As a result, a dedicated model was developed after extensive field testing.

Now, we are excited to announce the release of the NEW model.

Extra High Gear (105XH 6.8:1 / 75XH 7.3:1)
The key feature of this reel is the XH (Extra High Gear) specification, which allows for lure action comparable to that of spinning reels, but with a baitcasting reel. As a result, the combination with the ultra-large diameter gears achieves powerful winding strength that cannot be matched by spinning reels.

Wide Spool / Spooling Space
The traditional BHL featured a square-shaped spool ratio for better jigging operability, but this model adopts a Wide Spool to minimize changes in line tension during casting. This reduces the "pulling sensation" during the latter part of the cast. Additionally, the wide spool helps prevent line tangling, which can affect hook-setting.

The spool side is designed with a spooling space, allowing the angler to thumb the line without directly touching it. During the fight, this allows for pressure to be applied from the outermost diameter of the spool.

Round Bridge
The unique round bridge design of the BHL, originally developed to prevent line contact caused by uneven winding during jigging, has been further refined for casting use. It reduces line contact with the backside of the bridge, which is caused by line expansion immediately after casting. This results in a smoother casting feel and helps prevent line wear.
